Biography:
Mauricio Reyna Lara holds a Doctorate in Law with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, as well as a Doctorate in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the same institution. He earned a Master’s degree in Law with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and is a Specialist in Constitutional Law from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He has also completed research stays at the University of Salamanca, Spain, and the IRI Research Center in Germany and Switzerland. In October 2022, he was recognized as a Level I National Researcher by the National System of Researchers (SNI) of CONAHCYT.
Achievements:
He has delivered over 250 conferences, seminars, workshops, and courses. These have been across various federal public administration entities, federal organizations, and both public and private institutions. He has been an educator and guest speaker at many institutions. These include the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Cuajimalpa campus), and the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He has also presented at the Children’s Hospital of Mexico “Federico Gómez”, the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México, and Grupo Hospitalario Dalinde-San Ángel Inn-HMG. Other places include the Mexican Institute of Social Security, the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers, and the Naval Military Hospital.
Additionally, he has participated in Citizen Participation Forums in the Senate of the Republic. He discussed topics like citizen participation, human rights in health, civic education, and constitutional rights in health. These discussions have taken place both in Mexico and internationally. He has also been a speaker in the Program of Equality between Men and Women and Human Rights at the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA).
