TITLE: “Frequency of Desquamative Gingivitis among Dental Patients: A Cross-Sectional Multi-Center Study”
Desquamative gingivitis (DG) is a term for inflamed and peeling off gingival epithelium. This study aimed to determine the frequency of desquamative gingivitis (DG) concerning gender, age, and clinical findings among dental patients.
Dr Saima Mazhar is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Oral Pathology at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus, Karachi, Pakistan. She has done her Bachelor of Dental Surgery From 2010 – 2014 from Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine. She is an experienced dental professional with teaching experience of nine years coupled with experience in Academics, General Dentistry, Periodontology, Oral Pathology And Research. I am a Member of the Editorial Board of many National and International Peer Reviewed Journals. I Have Around 26 Publications. I have previously presented a Conference Paper Presentation in the 4th International BUHS Conference held in 2021, June. Titled: Frequency of Betel Nut Chewing Among Non-Teaching Staff of Bahria University Dental College. I have multiple book chapter publications too.
