Title: “Factors Affecting Adherence to Drug Therapy of Patients with Stable Coronary Heart Disease in the Republic of Dagestan”
Aim of research. Study of adherence to drug therapy and factors influencing it among patients with stable ischemic heart disease in the Republic of Dagestan.
Materials and methods of research. A study was conducted on 85 patients hospitalized routinely from 1/01/2015 to 31/12/2017 with a diagnosis of “Ischemic heart disease. Stable exertional angina.” At the first stage of the study, data were collected from medical records for the period from 1/01/2015 to 31/12/2017. All patients, with whom telephone contact was established and who were alive, were invited for a re-examination to assess patient adherence to therapy on outpatient stage and factors influencing it, using specially developed questionnaires.
